Scope and Contents William Pereuss (d. 1953) and his wife Grace Hankins Pereuss (d. 1985) owned the William Pereuss Funeral Home at 722 Clinton Street, Newark until William's death. Grace Pereuss kept the accounts for the funeral home. The collection consists of three account books, which list funeral accounts chronologically.
