Abstract

This collection consists of documents collected by Dr. Flagg related to her work as an educator, and includes publications of the Newark Board of Education, and the New Jersey State Department of Education. The documents include curriculum materials and handbooks, annual and monthly reports, surveys and meeting minutes, as well as agendas, correspondence and mixed publications relating to Dr. Flagg’s other interests, including African-American history.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of the collected papers of Barbara J. Kukla, who has worked in Newark for over fifty years as an author and reporter. These materials were collected by Barbara, both through her work and for personal interest. Scope and Contents The collection is comprised of 23 binders containing newspaper clippings, correspondence, awards, photographs, game schedules, fliers, varsity letters, etc., collected by Robert A. Illig (CHS, 1950), compiler of a two-volume collection of photocopied Central High School memorabilia, "Our Lady on the Hill."
