New Jersey Population Records
This small collection consists of photocopies of printed abstracts of census data for counties and townships in New Jersey, including Newark by ward (1850, 1855, 1860, 1865, and 1875); the categories of data for adults include: native or foreign, gender, and white or colored, and for children (between the ages of 5 and 16) include: gender, and white or colored. Also in the collection is a typescript table "Population of NJ Counties --1790-1915," which includes Essex County.

Organized in alphabetical order in 3 Hollinger boxes, this collection consists of invitations, programs, brochures, reports, by-laws, constitutions, membership lists, etc. related to various Newark clubs, committees, and organizations.
Newark Authors Collection
This is a collection of miscellaneous materials by and about a number of writers who lived, or were connected with, Newark. It consists of several large folders devoted to material on individual writers and one folder containing items relating to a number of different individuals.
Newark Birth Records
This collection contains an index to birth records of 1866 from L to Z. The records list the father of the baby, occupation of father, date of birth and name.

This collection contains miscellaneous Newark Business materials ranging from the nineteenth century to present day.
