John T. Cunningham Collection
The collection consists mainly of clippings, brochures, pamphlets, photocopies, and copies of images collected by John T. Cunningham for his many books and articles, primarily about New Jersey. It includes some notes for his books and articles, and the text of many of the talks he gave, as well as typed copies of a few of his manuscripts, and published copies of about a dozen of his books.

This collection includes photographs of the family, family papers (including a high school graduation program and a biography page from John Kalba's high school yearbook (1932), military documents, an obituary for Joseph Kalba, and Joseph Kalba's World War II medals, dog-tags, and hats.

Much of the collection pertains to Branch Brook Park, Newark, NJ, including materials related to The Newark Cherry Blossom Festival, Historic Register Nomination, Branch Brook Park Alliance, Essex County
Parks Department, and research used in Galop’s co-authored book.
There are also materials on the Essex County Park System as a whole, as well as individual parks and projects. Additionally, Galop collected some materials on preservation in Essex County.
