The others were Jacques d'Amboise, Fats Domino, Ramblin' Jack Elliott, Frank Gehry, Barbara Handman, Agnes Martin, Gregory Peck, Roberta Peters, the Sara Lee Corporation, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, and Gwen Verdon. 1998 National Humanities Medal recipients were Stephen E. Ambrose, E.L. Doctorow, Diana L. Eck, Nancye Brown Gaj, Henry Louis Gates, Jr., Vartan Gregorian, Ramon Eduardo Ruiz, Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr., and Garry Wills (source, Wikipedia). NPL#7.
