Hilda Hidalgo and Joan McEniry celebrated their retirement from teaching at Rutgers University. Dr. Hidalgo remarked about graduates from the Experimental M.S.W. for Bilingual / Bicultural Students who held elected positions in government or leadership positions in community organizations. State Senator Wynona Lipman discussed meeting Dr. Hidalgo at a Puerto Rican Congress convention and remaining friends since. Portions of the 1992 Experimental Program’s graduation focused on graduate Jose Angel Villalongo. The graduation party for the Class of 1992 was hosted by the Marriott Hotel and graduates gave tokens of appreciation to the program’s staff. A picnic for the graduates was also recorded.
