MSW Program - Convocation, 12/12/86, 1986

The convocation for the Experimental M.S.W. Program for Bilingual / Bicultural Hispanics Class of 1986 was recorded on these two videocassettes. Hilda Hidalgo thanked contributors and supporters of the experimental program. The guest speaker was Dr. Julio Morales and he encouraged the graduates to commit to the field of social work and help change the social conditions of their clients. Graduates presented a photographic slideshow and spoke about their experiences in the program. The names of the graduates were read and they were presented with Certificates of Commitment. Dr. Hidalgo was presented with a plaque from the School of Social Work in recognition of her innovative efforts to create and manage the experimental program.
