This small subseries contains material from conferences Kukla attended that do not fit any of the broad subject categories of series 1-5. Subjects include African-American issues, history and women’s issues. Most materials are publications and pamphlets. Material is filed alphabetically by title or topic.

Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series: This subseries consists of biographical information, mostly on Newark and New Jersey residents, including many members of the African-American community. Material types include obituaries, publications, pamphlets, papers and clippings. Obituaries and funeral programs were moved from this subseries only if a name file existed on the person elsewhere in the collection (i.e. for William Ashby see Series 2, for Alma Flagg see series 3).
