Newark Newspaper Photographs Scrapbooks
Scope and Contents
This collection contains 12 binders of pictures of Newark which ran in newspapers (all identified newspapers were published in Newark) from about 1933-1987. Subjects of pictures span the 1800s-1987. Binders are labelled by date of picture subject. Box #1: 1800s-1900s (2 binders), 1930s, 1930s&1940s; Box #2: 1930s&1940s, two unlabelled binders that have dates in the 1940s, and one unlaballed binder that starts in 1959. Box #3: "Mostly 1960s", unlabelled binders that start in 1966 and 1969 and 1970s/1980s.
