Newark Academy Trustee's Minutes, 1792 - 1978

"The Trustees minutes, extant from the re-founding of the school in 1792, provide a running history of physical development, evolving curriculum, personnel, financial affairs, and governance of the school. The original minutes are stored in several boxes - in some cases with other categories of Trustees' records (e.g., a box labeled "Trustees Minutes and Reports, [1959-1965]").

NOTE: Trustees minutes for the period when the school was located in Newark are available on microfilm. Minutes for the period October 1931 to October 1940 are missing. One reel of microfilm, labeled Minutes, 1792-1978) is present in the third box of minutes."
