Biographical / Historical

The Shade Tree Division was part of the Department of Parks and Public Property, which was moved under Public Works in 1953. Then, it was moved under Health and Human Services in 1986, and under Neighborhood Services in 1994 (became Neighbrohood and Recreation Services in 1998).

The "Division of Parks, Grounds and Shade Trees" moved back under Public Works in 2016.
