This small collection consists of photocopies of printed abstracts of census data for counties and townships in New Jersey, including Newark by ward (1850, 1855, 1860, 1865, and 1875); the categories of data for adults include: native or foreign, gender, and white or colored, and for children (between the ages of 5 and 16) include: gender, and white or colored.
