Abstract

The Hispanic Directors Association of New Jersey came into existence in 1990 as a means of providing support to the various executive directors of Hispanic nonprofit community organizations. The mission of the HDANJ is to further the progress of New Jersey’s Hispanic Community through cooperation among its members and collaboration with other organizations. The HDANJ is comprised of 32 Latino non-profit groups from the State of New Jersey. Their services are focused in four main areas: education, health, economic welfare and family support. The collection is divided into six series: Administration (6 boxes), Be Proud (5 boxes), Citizenship Campaign (4 boxes), Cuqui Files (8 boxes), Education (4 boxes) and Health (3 boxes).
