Scope and Contents
This series documents Dr. Hidalgo’s professional career in academia at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. The documents in this series include her appointment to Chair of the Urban Studies Department at Livingston College as well as Student Reviews published by that department. Dr. Hidalgo was also responsible for co-creating and running two graduate programs at Rutgers, which are documented in the two subseries: Subseries IV. A: Experimental MSW Program for Bilingual/Bicultural Hispanics and Subseries IV. B: MPA Program for Hispanic Administrators. Photographs of a celebratory graduation picnic for students from both of these graduate programs may be found in this series as well as a program from that celebration.
