Staff members involved were Reggie Blanding and Alisha Grant, from the James Brown African American Room (JBAAR) and Beth Zak-Cohen and Vanessa Castaldo from the Charles F. Particpants filled out application to take part, and ten participants were chosen by the library, eight of whom completed the workshop. This first class was: Anaya Battle, Jhoana Geronimo, Natalia Duran, Petia Morozov, Petia Morozov, Phoenix Cutrona, Nicole Auffant and Yvel Clovis. During the workshops, participants learned about both photography and archives.
