Scope and Contents

This collection contains invitations received by Charles F. Cummings and, occasionally, other librarians and community members.Events include Newark and New Jersey events, including musical performances, nonprofit events, historical events, galas, etc. Organizations include La Casa De Don Pedro, UVSO (Unified Vailsburg Service Organization), LISC, St. Vincent's Academy, Aljira, YMCA, Greater Newark Conservancy, Newark Arts Council, New Jersey Institute for Social Justice, and Beth Israel Hospital. Most items are invitations that were mailed (often with an address) but some are one-sheet "fliers", programs, etc.

The invitations are sorted by year, as follows:

Box 4: 1992-1993, 1995, 1996
