This collection includes 2 copies of "Songs of Rutgers" (published in 1916 and 1963), a booklet titled as "School of Ceramics (1902-1952)," pamphlets regarding Paul Robeson Campus Center Dedication (1972, 1979), a photocopy of "Report to the New Jersey Legislature concerning the recent events and disturbances at the Newark and Camden Campus of Rutgers, The State University (1969)," a brochure from the dedication of Ackerson Hall (1966) and miscellaneous other publications.

Also includes a Rutgers magnet. Also includes copied biographical material on namesakes of Rutgers Newark buildings (i.e. Danqa, Robeson, Woodward, Talbott) (n.d.).

From Newark Archives Project: "Items relating to the Rutgers-Newark campus include: "A Report to the New Jersey Legislature Concerning the Recent Events and Disturbances at the Newark and Camden Campuses of Rutgers, the State University," by Ralph A. Dugan, Chancellor of Higher Education (1969); and 2 programs for dedications of the Paul Robeson Campus Center (1972, 1979). The Dugan report includes a detailed history of demands for increased recruitment of black students and faculty and the establishment of Black Studies courses and programs at Rutgers-Newark. The demands were put forward in 1968-1969 by the Black Organization of Students. The BOS met with University officials, engaged in active recruiting of black students, led protests, and eventually organized the occupation of Conklin Hall in March 1969."
