Forest Hill Historic District: a copy of application for placement on the New Jersey and National Registers of Historic Places.
Folder of material relating to "The History of the Black Community in Newark," a project apparently connected with the Newark Museum. Included are two copies of the 35-page typescript, research notes of Marsha Smith Pickett, and a letter from Susan Newberry to Charles F. Cummings, June 8, 1984.
Ironbound neighborhood: a folder of photocopied clippings, with information on protests, prisons, local history, industry, services, and local politics (most undated, some from 1970s-1980s). Material spans 1979-1986.
Roseville: Elizabeth Bathgate handwritten reminiscences of the Roseville section going back to the 1840s, with information on the original Pingry School for Boys and Roseville Presbyterian Church; and accompanying letter by Samuel Berg to Charles F.
