From the Collection:

This collection includes documents published by the state, county, and city. It also includes "Quasi" collections which are documents from non-governmental organizations including non-profits and other associations, institutions, and clubs.

Series I: Newark City Documents contains documents published by Departments within the City of Newark.

Series II: Newark Quasi Documents contains documents published by non-governmental Newark agencies including hospitals, non-profits, and clubs. Overlaps with items in the archival collections (see Related Materials).

Series III: Essex Co. Documents contains items published by Departments within the County of Essex.

Series IV: Essex Co. Quasi Documents contains documents published by non-governmental county agencies including hospitals, non-profits, and clubs. Overlaps with items in the archival collections (see Related Materials)

Series V: NJ State Documents contains items published by State of New Jersey governmental departments.

Series VI: NJ Quasi Documents contains documents published by non-governmental New Jersey agencies including hospitals, non-profits, and clubs. Overlaps with items in the archival collections (see Related Materials)

Series VII: NJ Commissions contains temporary and permanent commissions and committees of the State of New Jersey.
