Series 1b consists of publishing related materials that could not be linked to any specific magazine. Much of this material is undated; it is sorted by material type. Material includes correspondence, financial papers, advertising material, stationery materials, and lithographic negatives.

Materials of note include the 1937 application to the state to found After Hours [Box 1, Folder 12], and 1949 After Hours stock certificate [Box 1, Folder 13]. The large collection of lithographic negatives contains text and images that would have been transposed to the publications.
