Biographical / Historical
The New Jersey Banker's Association was founded in 1903. In 1908, the New Jersey Savings Bank Association was formed in. In 1909 the New Jersey Building and Loan League was formed. The latter two groups combined in 1996, to form what eventually became the New Jersey League of Community Bankers. In 2009 the legacy New Jersey Bankers Association and the New Jersey League of Community Bankers merged to form the new New Jersey Bankers Association (NJBankers).
