From the Collection:

This small collection contains tools and papers of Herman Kreitler, tax surveyor of Newark. Folders 1 and 3 contain sketches and field books including sketches of addresses in Newark. Folder 2 contains reference books that were used by Kreitler in his work, "Railroad Curves and Earthwork" (1914) and "Trigonometrical Tables".

The remainder of the collection is made up of tools Kreitler used for work including ink pens, ink nibs, rulers, protractors, etc.
