Scope and Contents
This collection is comprised of one scrapbook entitled "Current Events in Art" (November 1929 - April 1930). The scrapbook consists of typed lists of monthly "Current Art Talks"; each month's list is followed by clippings, and, in one case, a catalogue for an exhibit of paintings by Emma Fordyce MacRae at the Roerich Museum (1930). Abstract
The collection of consists of 15 scrapbooks of research notes, sketches, original photographs, postcards, and clippings. Most of the material relates to the history of buildings in Newark, but there is also material on other New Jersey cities, on New York architecture, and on historic preservation in other states.
