Irish Exhibit at the Newark Public Library
Scope and Contents
This small collection consists of material relating to an exhibit on the history of Irish-American in Newark held at the Newark Public Library, March 14-May 21, 2007. The collection consists largely of mounted exhibit captions, with biographical sketches, information on buildings, organizations, and events central to the Irish experience in Newark. Captions are filed by exhibit case. Box 1 contains captions for 5 cases of material, plus one file of background material, including lists of items borrowed from Seton Hall University and individual donors. Box 2 contains captions for 5 cases of material.
