Ioannou, a carpenter from Madison, NJ, at the site of a demolition on Belmont Avenue, "near the old Krueger Brewery." According to an undated note from him to Charles F. Cummings, he donated them to the Newark Public Library. The collection consists of material apparently gathered and buried or hidden on the occasion of the groundbreaking for a new stable for the Krueger Brewery, May 18, 1880.
