Scope and Contents This collection contains 12 binders of pictures of Newark which ran in newspapers (all identified newspapers were published in Newark) from about 1933-1987. Abstract The collection consists of two scrapbooks compiled by Walter Edward Blythe and Robert Arthur Illig. They contain illustrations relating to the history of Newark, clipped from local newspapers (the Newark Sunday Call, the Newark Evening News, the Newark Star-Eagle, etc.).
