Herman to Philip, April 24, 1970: Sends his love, tells his son he's handsome and intelligent, and admits he is one of his son's ardent admirers. However, "your haircut does not enhance your beautiful physical or intelligent image." Herman to Philip, November 26, 1971: "Please come to Jonathan's party."
