This subseries contains four scrapbooks documenting important events in the life of Dr. Hidalgo. The “Herstory Album,” compiled by Dr. Hidalgo, is comprised of photographs from roughly 1960 to 1998 and creates a visual history of her life; of note is a picture of Dr. Hidalgo with the mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico at a Girl Scout function. A scrapbook documenting her and her partner, Joan McEniry’s retirement from Rutgers contains photographs from the party and cards from their many friends...
