Biographical / Historical
The Garden State Association of Black Journalists's mission is to unite African-Americans in New Jersey dedicated to the promotion of equal opportunity, truth and professional excellence in the fields of print and broadcast journalism. The association has been active since at least 1988 with programs including a scholarship luncheon and an annual gala.
