Scope and Contents
This collection consists of 1 Hollinger box and 11 scrapbooks : 1 archival box contains correspondence, campaign clippings, files on campaign funds, and business and membership cards ; 11 scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings, photographs, correspondence, fliers, membership and business cards, invitations, postcards, programs, school report cards, etc. The scrapbooks are arranged in chronological order : v. 1 (1916-47), v. 2 (1927-38), v. 3 (1916-18, 1938-41), v. 4 (1938-42), v. 5 (Jan.-June 1939), v. 6 (July-Nov. 1939), v. 7 (1941), v. 8 (1941), v. 9 (1941), v.10 (1950), and v. 11 (Oct. 1950).

Biographical / Historical
Born in East Orange, N.J., Albert E. Vreeland was a Republican Party politician, and elected to the 76th and 77th Congresses, representing New Jersey's 11th congressional district from 1939 to 1943.
