Industry – Breweries: A folder of material related to the brewery P. Ballantine and Sons, including a booklet on the brewing industry in the United States and "Remarks on the inspection of the brewery," both by Charles Bradley, Vice-President of Ballantine (1908, 1916); an advertising booklet with character sketches of ale drinkers, and colored illustrations of Ballantine's brewery and the bottles and labels of its various beers (1910); a profile of the company from Fortune Magazine (1938); and a brochure with facts and figures related to Ballantine (ca. 1954); Feigenspan P.O.N. foam scraper; letter from Christian Feigenspan promoting reductions in the price of coal (8 May 1935); A brief history of the Morton Brewery building, including a transcription of an 1880 newspaper article and more recent descriptions (1960); Krueger Beer Coaster (n.d.)

Industry-- Whitehead and Hoag / Medals: Material related to Whitehead and Hoag Company, designers and manufacturers of advertising, industrial, and fraternal products in plastic, metal, and leather: product sheets, promotional materials, and a history of the company; "The America City and Local Veteran's Medals" by James Peterson (incl. Whitehead & Hoag); "Medals Made in Newark"
Industry – Wiss: 4 promotional booklets produced by Wiss Jewelers: "The Finds", "Heirlooms" (1967 Heirloom Collection), untitled booklet that begins with Twelve Days of Christmas lyrics, and "The Delicious World of Wiss".

Industry Misc.: A stamp from Phoenix Lock Works, with picture of building, Edwards, Burton and Dovey; Newark Plaster Company's 100th anniversary brochure with a history of the company and illustrated descriptions of its products (1940).;"The Farmers' Companion and Reference Book," printed by Listers Agricultural Chemical Works, with recommendations for applying various fertilizers produced by Listers (1886). "Listers Agricultural Chemical Works" Guide (1889?) describing different types of fertilizer available from the company, and other information; manufacturing census statistics 1925; Sun Oil Company envelopes
Inter-group Relations: contains a "Statement of Principles and Objectives" relating to the Newark Program of Good Will and Understanding (1945).
Inventors: includes a manuscript, "The Invention of the Sophisticated Wind Tunnel...," by Joseph G. Weisinger of Newark (1969); specifications for improvements to indexes, by Augustus Scarlett; and a petition and oath relating to the invention of "a new and improved mode indicating to passengers the names of different stations along the line" by Scarlett and John R. McDaivitt (1868).
Islam: excerpts from "A History of Conversion to Islam in the United States" by Bowen surrounding early roots of Islam in Newark including Moorish Science Temple, Thomas Drew, Sulieman
Jews – Exhibit: Exhibit materials from Jewish Newark library exhibit, including timeline and captions (photos from exhibit were removed back to collection, except 2 unidentified photos in this folder).
Jews: contains a printed report of an investigation by the Jewish Men's Club into the condition of Jewish education in Newark, with statistics on the numbers of Jewish children receiving Hebrew education, and where; a list of Hebrew schools, and the capacity of each; the number, and gender of teachers, and salaries; data on fees; etc. (1909). Also included is information related to the marriage of Helen Einhorn and Benjamin Glueckfield (1912), with genealogical details regarding both the Einhorn, and Glueckfield families; and an address to the Kushner Academy with reminiscences of the school (then called Yeshiva of Newark) in the 1940s (2005). Congregation Ahavas Shalom event journals: "A Tribute to Rabbi Marton Gutman" (1986), 75th anniversary celebration (1980).
